system all about?
www.dbsvonline.com is the online trading services offered
by DBS Vickers Securities (Thailand) Co., Ltd. It allows clients
to place orders into the Stock Exchange of Thailand on the Internet.
With real-time stock prices, market news, and our investment research,
investing in the stock market through our website has never been
this convenient, fast and easy.
On which markets can I trade?
You can trade in all shares and warrants listed on the Mainboard
of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).

Account Opening
What types of accounts
are there?
For online trading, only Cash Balance Account type is available.
Existing holders of trading accounts, you can choose to allocate
some trading line to your online account or you could operate it
on a cash balance basis.
How do I open my account?
Simple click Account
Opening to register for Online Trading Account Opening or contact
our dedicated Online Trading Team at (66) 2657-7799 or drop us an e-mail at
dbsvonline@th.dbsvickers.com to request a complete set of
account opening forms to be sent to your mailing address.
What is difference in
service between a trial member and an account holder?
A trial member has the ability to access the site for 30 days only
while DBSV's account holder has unrestricted access to all premium
facilities as long as you maintain the account. Only a online trading
client can input trades through the system.
Are there any fees associated
with setting my account?
Except duty stamp of THB 30 as stipulated by Thai law, there are
no fees to set up a new account.

What is the commission
rate to trade Thai stocks?
The commission charge for online trading is fixed at 0.21% per transaction
while broker assisted transactions are fixed at 0.25%. However,
the minimum charge is THB 50 per day where trades input are matched.

Trading Tips & Tools
How much money do I need
to deposit in my online trading account?
You are required to deposit a minimum of Baht 50,000 before start
trading. Your trading limit will be subject to the cash balance
remaining in your online trading account.
How do I wire money into
my account?

When can I submit orders?
You can place your orders during trading hours for execution on
the same day or place orders after trading hours for execution on
the next market day. The regular trading hours of Stock Exchange
of Thialnd (SET) is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
to 5:00 p.m. daily, Monday to Friday, except public holidays.
What types of orders are
accepted?
All orders input to our trading system are "Day Orders"
which is valid for one day only. After market closed from 5:00 p.m.
to 5:05 p.m. (housekeeping period), all unexecuted orders will be
cleared. The status of these unexecuted orders will be reflected
as expired.
Can I send trading orders
while the market is closed?
After 5:05 p.m. (housekeeping period), you can start send new orders called
"offline order or OF". Orders keyed in will be held in our system
and not be processed or accepted as being valid orders. The trading system
will start to recheck your offline orders against credit line available and
securities portfolio before the market open between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
If you have insufficient credit line available or securities available,
your orders will be rejected. We strongly advise clients who send orders
after trading hours to check their order status before market open.
How will I know that my
order has been received successfully?
After placing order, you will receive a confirmation that your order
has been received. An order number will be assigned and your order
status should be shown as "SX" (SET confirm to have received
the order). Your order number will be your reference for any future
queries.
What happens if the orders
are not matched by the end of the trading day?
All unmatched orders will be cleared from the Trading System from
5:00 p.m. to 5:05 p.m. (housekeeping period) and the status of unmatched
orders will be reflected "E" (Expired orders). You need
to place a new order for the next trading session.
How would I know the status
of my orders?
You just simply view your order status by clicking the "Tool
Box" button. Your orders together with the status will be shown.

Can I amend my order?
No. You are advised to cancel your previous order and place a new
order.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes. You can cancel your order that has not been fully matched.
For partially filled orders, only the unmatched quantities can be
cancelled.
How do I check the trading
limit available or purchasing power and the current stock position
in my online trading account?
You can check your trading limit available or line available and
your current stock position by clicking "Trading Portfolio"
under "View order & portfolio".
How am I notified about trade execution?
Trade confirmation is available online. Under "Online Trading",
select "View order & portfolio" and then "Confirmation
Report".

Password
How do I change my password?
Under "Online Trading", select "My Corner" and
then "Change Password". You will need to input your current
password before changing to a new one. We strongly recommend you
to change your password to a hard-to-guess one periodically.
What if I forget my password?
You will have to either visit us in person or make a request in
writing for a new password in the following manner:-
1. Go to "Home" page,
2. Click "Forgot Password",
3. Download and print "Online Account Update Form" ,
4. Fill in the form and submit to the below address:-

Under "Online Trading", select "My Corner" followed
by "Change My Personal Data". Your password is required
to submit a request.

Securities Deposit / Withdrawal
How can I deposit securities?
You can deposit securities into your online trading account by the following manner:-
1. Log in to your online trading account
2. Click "Account Management"
3. Select "Securities Deposit"
4. Fill in the "Online Securities Deposit Notification Form" and submit
Please be advised that we will credit the securities deposit to your online trading account
on the next working day after the receipt of the transferred securities.
How can I withdraw or
transfer my securities?
You can withdraw or transfer securities by the following manner:-
1. Log in to your online trading account
2. Click "Account Management"
3. Select "Securities Withdrawal"
4. Fill in the "Online Securities Withdrawal Requisition Form" and
submit

When DBSV will process the securities deposit
and withdraw request?
Securities Deposit
Please be advised that we will credit the securities deposit to
your online trading account on the next working day after the receipt
of the transferred securities.
Securities Withdrawal
Please be advised that all securities withdrawal request received
prior to 3:30 p.m. Bangkok time will be processed on the date of
receipt. Requests received between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Bangkok
time will be recorded in DBSV custody system on the day of receipt.
However, as the Securities Depository Center (SDC) system is not
available during this time, thus the depository transfer would be
effected by 9:00 a.m. Bangkok time on the next market day. Any requisition
reaching us after 5:00 p.m. Bangkok time will be considered as being
received on the next working day.

Cash Deposit / Withdrawal
Why should I deposit more
money into my online trading account?
You line available for trading will be subject to the cash balance
remaining in your online trading account. Therefore, if you deposit
more money, your line available or purchasing power will be increasing.
How can I deposit money to my online trading
account?
You should deposit money to DBSV under the
name "DBS Vickers Securities (Thailand) Co., Ltd. for Customer

4. Select "Cash Withdrawal"
5. Fill in the "Online Cash Withdrawal Requisition Form"

When DBSV will process the cash deposit
/ withdrawal request ?
Cash Deposit
For cash deposit and remittances at banks,
your trading line will be updated within the next working day after
we receipt credit notification from banks. However, for cheque deposit
DBSV will update your trading line within one day after the cheque
has been honored by the drawer's bank.
Cash Withdrawal
Please be advised that the money will be
transferred to your bank account according to your instruction within
the next working day of receipt date. Any requisition reaching us
after 5:00 p.m. Bangkok time will be considered as being received
on the next working day.

available?

Order & Portfolio" and select "Trading Portfolio"

Security & Technical
How secure is the system and are my orders
safe?
The online trading services offered by DBSV use the widely accepted
Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption technology to transfer
data between your terminal and our system. All order pages are secured.
We highly recommend that you choose a hard-to-guess
password when setting up your trading account, and that you change
it periodically. Make sure to exit your browser when you are finished.
You shall keep the UserID and Password confidential and not disseminate
it to any person.
What are the requirement
for personal computers to trade with DBSV online?
1. CPU / RAM: Intel Pentium 200 MHz with 64 MB RAM
2. Monitor Display : 16-bit color 800 X 600 resolution or higher
3. Operating System : Windows 95/98/2000 or Mac OS 8.5
4. Modem : 56K
5. Browsers : Microsoft Internet Explore Version 4.0 and above or
Netscape Nevigator 4.5 and above
What does "This application
has performed an illegal operation" mean?
Your PC may be running out of RAM or have too many programs running
at the same time. You should reboot your PC. If this message pops
up frequently, you may need to increase the RAM in your PC.
Why can't I read DBSV
research?
In order to read DBSV research, you need "Acrobat Reader"
installed on you PC. If you do not have this program, you can download
it by clicking the Acrobat icon in our "Home" page. After
you finished downloading the Acrobat Reader file, you need to install
it on your PC by running the EXE file.

DBSV will using email as a channel to communicate with our clients
on client-related issues and corporate messages and we appreciate
your feedback and queries using email or online forms.

DBS Vickers Securities cannot guarantee the confidentiality or receipt
of any email sent by clients and the public.
Your submission of email to DBS Vickers Securities represents your
consent for two-way communication via email.

We cannot accept trade request via email. If you encounter problems
trading on this web site, please call our online trading team at
